More Life as it should be - Maine Hospitality


Down East Magazine, one of my favorite publications, posted this on their Facebook page yesterday.  It so captures the essence of the Maine sense of humor, hospitality, and general love of life that I had to share it with you.  They do a great job at Down East.....be sure to grab a copy at your newstand to see more of life as it should be.

    This is fantastic! I love it! I don't know Maine really well but this reminds me of the Maine I've known particularly when my uncle was at Wooden Boat!

    So funny. I do miss Maine. In fact, we should have been there yesterday when our great-niece got married to a terrific guy. Oh well, we'll get there again some day.

    Down East in perhaps my favorite magazine.
    I am off at the end of September and don't have a plan yet. Perhaps I need to head north...get a lobster or two.
